Module 3: Integrating biological diversity into national sectoral and cross-sectoral strategies, policies, plans and programmes.

This module provides an overview of the integration of biodiversity and its importance for the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity, as well as practical advice on how to approach this important task. The overall message of the module is that integration is the key to the implementation of the Convention and that therefore it should be a central element of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). This module also highlights that integration can be achieved in very different ways, at different scales and at different levels of government.
