PRABV: Soil restoration defense
Land degradation is considered to be one of the main causes of the disturbance of the water regimes of several rivers in Guinea, to which the Regional Programme for the Management of Watersheds of Upper Niger and Upper Gambia contributes to the regulation of the regulation of watersheds in Upper Niger and Upper Gambia. It is itself caused by the poor use of land in the absence of sound measures for the management and conservation of agricultural soils.
PRABV projects have devoted significant efforts to inform and, where appropriate, train land users to adopt good land use practices.
