Guinea, which has a natural condition favorable to the development of pachyderms, of which it had a large population, saw this species disappear until reaching a critical threshold that led to pessimism supporting their total disappearance. It is with real satisfaction that their reappearance in the years 1992 was perceived in our country.

That is why the development of a national strategy for their conservation has the unwavering support of the entire nation.
