Climate change and coastal risk prevention
Climate change is a phenomenon recognized by the scientific community. The work of the IPCC makes it possible to assess the current change and, according to several scenarios, the projections of climate change for the end of the century. Its foreseeable effects in terms of natural risks are more difficult to assess, but the state of scientific knowledge will be presented, from two perspectives: what impact can climate change have on the coastline and what are the current ways of working? How can natural coastal risks and protection techniques evolve in the context of climate change?
