Assessment of reforestation tests: 1993 - 1997
In 1992, the Republic of Guinea, with financial support from the European Union, set up the Pilot Project for the Management of Mangroves in Sangareya Bay, in Dubréka Prefecture.
The development of the Sangareya mangroves is the result of the observation made during previous studies on the state of accelerated degradation of this ecosystem, in particular for the satisfaction of the local populations and those of the capital Conakry, in firewood, service wood, service wood, sea salt and mangrove rice.
